What is shotcrete?

Shotcrete (internationally known as Gunite) is a type of concrete that is placed by spraying in applications where casting is not possible. Its composition consists of aggregates with appropriate particle size distribution, where applicable, cement and specialized admixtures.

Shotcrete can satisfy all the strength classes of common concrete, and these strengths are achieved in a short period of time.

Gunite

  • Dry mix shotcrete (dry mix gunite), ALIVA, OCMER technology.

  • Wet mix gunite, MECBO, PUTZMEISTER technology.

  • Humidry premix shotcrete (humidry mix gunite).

Repairs

  • Repairs – reinforcements – restorations of the load-bearing structure of buildings, factories, reinforced concrete bridges (research – study – application).

  • Anti-seismic – fireproof shielding.

  • Shotcrete applications

Gunite – Shotcrete – Sprayed concrete

  • Injections: Cement injections – Resin injections – Tuck Pointing

  • Sheets: Carbon sheets, Steel sheets, Béton Plaqué blades L’Hermite

Applications

Applications:

  • Gunite mantle construction

Structural and anti-seismic rehabilitation, reinforcement of load-bearing structures of existing buildings, bridge structures, reservoirs, etc.

  • Reinforcement of foundations, footings, columns, beams, slabs, etc.

  • Tunneling works for opening and sealing tunnels.

  • Waterproofing of concrete tanks, swimming pools entirely with a gunite wall carrier without a concreting joint.

Multi-purpose homes, with the load-bearing prefabricated wall construction technique, made of shotcrete (gunite)

Advantages

  • Rapid construction

  • Top quality

  • Bioclimatic design

  • Thermal insulation

  • Soundproofing

  • Waterproofing

  • Anti-seismic / fireproofing.

  • Energy saving.

Wet mix gunite

  • Wet mix gunite, MECBO, PUTZMEISTER technology.
